Having fun in the holidays is so important to me... This photo is Chewy climbing the steep sand dunes at 90 Mile Beach. She tried so hard but those little fluffy legs just couldn't do it. Chewy had lots of fun and enjoyed chasing the seagulls across the beach and into the crashing waves. Unfortunately she manged to find a stinky old fish head and did what all dogs do - rolled in it. Yuck. The smell was horrible so she spent the rest of the trip in the back of the car. Chewy was not happy but we were.
This photo was taken while we were steaming home after a successful days fishing. I'm holding a nice Hapuka. I named it Harry. That evening Harry joined us for dinner and a big smoke up... My friends and I enjoyed the night talking about the ones that got away but I'm not sure if Harry was overly impressed. As the night went on our fish turned into whales and Harry ended up being the size of a house... go Harry the Hapuka.
Did you have an exciting time in the holidays?
In the holidays I went to my aunt's farm and chased a little piglet. I was chasing it with my sister and my cousin I kept on slipping and sliding. My sister got stuck in the brown sticky icky mud because she had fell into the mud when she was chasing the pig I thought it was funny, then we pulled her out. The pig kept on screaming and squealing. At about 6pm we caught it and put it back in the pigpen it was fun. After that we went and had dinner with all our cousins and played
ReplyDeletespotlight in the dark. My uncle was the one with the torch because he lost in coconut coconut coconut crack. I was hiding with my cousin under the tractor wheels nobody found us so we won. When we finished playing we all just played the Ipads and the Xbox 360 and went to sleep on our comfortable beds.
In the holidays my mum, dad, Ryan and myself went to paihia to eat at a restaurant called Shippey’s, mum parked the car in a parking lot and we had to pay $4 to park for 4 hours WOW thats a cheap (kind of). We all got out of the car to try and find Shippey’s, I tried to tell my mum that the restaurant was a big blue boat in the shallow part of a beach, I don’t think she heard me. We kept looking for four minutes (I think), then I told her again “mum Shippey’s is a big blue boat in the shallow end of a beach ” then my dad said “I know where a big blue boat is.” When we got there I was SO excited (the last time I went there it was with my friend Anton) I ran up the huge wooden ramp. When we got inside there was no one there but us (and the people that worked there) me and Ryan ordered the chip with fish bites and a creamy lime milkshake, IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! I felt warm inside as I ate one of my chips. Ryan was just eating his chips and not the fish so I… stole one of his fish bites (but don’t tell).My mum took a lot of pictures of me and Ryan on my tablet, Ryan went to go play by the ships steering wheel I did to, it was fun pretending to be pirates in the deep blue sea. Then it was time to go, we all went to the car and mum drove home. I wished we stayed at Shippey’s a little longer.

ReplyDeleteIn the holidays i went to Juanita's birthday. And so did her after friends. We have to came in the afternoon i was the first one there to see her and she said do you want to have a sleepover i didn’t want to because my mum say so. Ok but the afters are having a sleepover we have to play same birthday games first then the after are here now we can play same birthday games now how wants to choose a game to play. I will said
Janita because i am the birthday girl she choose pet shop i didn’t like girl games
but who cares about that because i am her friend when we finish playing her mum said
now we can eat dinner we went in one by one Janita was the last one in because it is a big surprise for her she was happy. It was yummy when we finished it was time to open the present she got a lot of presents. Then we have to go to the longyu to play dancing stachey all of us didn’t lose. All of my friends wan i wan to.
We all can get a lollipop. To of as got a blue lollipop and the after three got red lollipop.
And then my mum came i have to go but Janita gave me a balloon and same cake.
In the holidays i went to mitimiti to go ride on a horse named Eddie with my nana from astatula and my papa . We went on a four hour trip in the bushes and up hills.
ReplyDeleteAfter we went to the waterfall and had a swim and the waterfall water was crashing down on us it was painful. when i got home me and my nana cooked noodle and it was yum and it tasted a bit like chops .then we look at the beach the water look gold and because the sun was shining on the water and it look amazing that was my holiday.
In the holiday I went to my aunty house. and i went to go and see my mum.and then she walked me up town and my brother two . and we had some Easter eggs in the morning. we went to go up town to by some lollies and it cost $5 . and then me my aunts & mum went home to have some lollies . and this morning I went two go and have breakfast. and then I was playing card games with my Nan and papa. & then it was lunch time and I had K.F.C. and it was so so so yummy and delicious two Then I went to the skate park. & then I came back home to have dinner.

ReplyDeleteIn the holidays, I went to see The Lego Movie in kerikeri with my brothers, cousin, and my auntys. it was awesome because I like the part, where Emmet looks at Wylde style. after that we went to Paihia and played on the park and, on the sand by water. Then we went home to my Nans house and, had dinner it was super, super nice. We had chicken, coslor, salad, latis, chips, sachs, bead, and sosch. And podding and, we had ice cream and fruit salad.

On the way we had MacDonald I had a filet combo with a sun day and with a ice cream it was delicious my ice cream was dripping on my hand my hand got sticky. When we got there I built a big sand castle it was big. I told my brother if he want’s a competition. He lost cause my sister stand on his one he was angry he was about to punch her but I said don’t do it otherwise you will get a growling.When we left the beach we got mad because it was fun at the beach. At the beach we played spot light with our own little torches. It was fun playing spotlight we played with my cousin’s they had a torches. then we had to go to bed it was funny because we were telling scary stories.

ReplyDeleteIn the holiday, it was my brother’s birthday on easter. When we woke up Leonard was so excited, he had so much planned for his birthday. First we had McDonald’s and KFC for breakfast, we left Kaikohe about 9:00 it took us half an hour to get to Whangarei. We went to the Wave pools and to Laza maze. We went to the waves pools first, we took 2-3 hours at the wave pools. Leonard and I went up the hyper side before we did anything else. We had lots of fun. When it was about 12:30 we had to go and get some lunch. We got change and went to pizza hut, Mum and Dad picked the pizza, they pick a nice pizza, it was delicious. After we had lunch Dad started to go to laza maze. When we arrived at laza maze Mum gave Leonard and I each $20:00 we played all sorts of games we play shooting games, racing games, bowling games, and heaps more. Then a lady came and her name was Rebecca and she told us how to play the game, before she said we could play the game our cousin’s showed up and that means your mum didn’t have to play and our cousins could play as well. Your aunty stayed with my Mum, my Uncle played with us as well as your Dad. During playing the game, I followed Leonard to the other teams base, our cousins were looking for my dad and Uncle and Montana. Montana is your cousin, the other two were on our team. Their names are Waikura and pounamu. It took us for a very long time but we all had fun even my Mum and my Aunty. After a very big day we all went back home and he opened all Leonard’s presents and we had chocolate cake with chocolate topping.
